Bensulfuron-Methyl Weed Control Herbicides 95%TC 10%WP
Bensulfuron-methyl is the methyl ester of bensulfuron. An acetolactate synthase inhibitor, it is used as a herbicide for the control of a variety of both annual and perennial weeds in crops, particularly wheat and rice. It is not licensed for use within the UK. It has a role as a herbicide, an agrochemical and an EC 2.2.1.6 (acetolactate synthase) inhibitor. It is a N-sulfonylurea, a member of pyrimidines, a methyl ester and an aromatic ether. It derives from a bensulfuron.
It is a selective systemic herbicide. The agent diffuses rapidly in water, is absorbed by the roots and leaves of the weeds, and is transferred to other parts, hindering the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids. The growth of sensitive weeds is blocked, the young tissues are yellowed prematurely, and the growth of leaves and roots is inhibited. It can effectively control rice field 1-year-old and perennial broad-leaved weeds and sedges, which can be absorbed by weed roots and leaves and transmitted to other parts. For rice safety, the method of use is flexible.
Scope of application
Applicable to rice fields to control 1-year-old and perennial broadleaf weeds and sedges, after crop buds, pre-emergence and post-emergence application, for ragweed, kohlrabi, knuckle, etc. Nigella, sedge, water sedge, etc.) works well.
