Propanil 36% EC is a contact herbicide of amide group. It inhibits photosynthesis of weeds. It is absorbed through weed leaves, damages leaf tissues and causes weeds to wither. It has no translocation inside plants. It is widely used for post-emergence grass weed control in rice fields.
