It has a role as an EC 3.1.1.7 (acetylcholinesterase) inhibitor, an anthelminthic drug, an EC 3.1.1.8 (cholinesterase) inhibitor, an antibacterial agent and an antifungal agent. It is an alkenyl phosphate, a dialkyl phosphate, an organophosphate insecticide and an organochlorine acaricide.
