Mepiquat Chloride Tree Rooting Hormone,
Powder 98%TC Synthetic Growth Hormone,
Mepiquat Chloride Plant Growth Regulator
A plant growth regulator, it is used in agriculture to reduce vegetative growth including sprout suppression in garlic, leeks and onions.
It has a role as a plant growth retardant and an agrochemical.
It is a quaternary ammonium salt and a chloride salt. It contains a mepiquat.
MEPIQUAT CHLORIDE is absorbed by the plant primarily through leaves and translocated throughout the plant.
It inhibits the biosynthesis of gibberellic acid, and leads to a deeper green leaf colouring after 3-6 days.
It is used on cotton to reduce vegeative growth and to advance maturation of the bolls
It is also used in combination with ethephon to prevent lodging in cereal and flax.
|Introduction||Mepiquat chloride PIX is white to slight yellow powder, its melting point is 223℃, decomposition point is 285℃;Easily to dissolve in water, can dissolve in ethanol, slightly soluble in acetone; it is stable in room temperature.|
|Appplication||1. Mepiquat chloride PIX is a kind of plant growth retardant. It can delay plant vegetativegrowth and decline the activity of gibberellic, then to prevent plant overgrowth.
2. It used on cotton is mainly to inhibit plant stem growth, it can also inhibit plant cross growth.
3. It can improve the stability of cell membrane, increase plant resistance.
4. For peanut, mung bean, tomato, watermelon and cucumber, Mepiquat chloride can help the transportation of photosynthesis outcome to flower and fruit. Avoid falling off, increase fruit rate. Help the intumescences of rhizome.
|Target crops||Cotton, wheat, rice, peanuts, corn, potatoes, grapes, vegetables, beans, flowers|
